Torus Becomes First iPhone Game to Offer 3D Printed Achievements
Posted on December 15, 2012 | No Comments3D prints of models in the game Torus 1.1.0 are now available for online ordering or downloading for home 3D printing. The original Torus for iPhone has players tilting their device parallel to the floor, moving a base hook to catch falling Tori or take damage. Many games offer achievement badges. Torus is the first game to offer 3D printed rewards. Scoring 3000, 6000, 9000 or 12,000 points unlock 3D prints to order for a unique desk set when added to the base. -

Arc Agile Technologies announces that less than 30 hours remain in Sphero Glide's KickStarter campaign. The Sphero is the first robotic ball gaming device that you control with a tilt, touch, or swing from your smartphone or tablet. You can even use Sphero as a controller for on-screen gameplay. Sphero Glide needs only 7 percent to complete funding for its KickStarter campaign. -
Ingress – Augmented Reality Game for Android

I like "Augmented Reality" aspect of this game since you have to get out into the real world and be physically active to play-- no more sitting for hours in front of a computer. Developed by Niantic Labs, a team within Google. The object of this game is to join forces with either The Resistance or The Enlightened for ultimate control of the world. Control is gained by obtaining a special kind of energy called XM and using that energy to capture and hold locations in your area. -
